Sweet Dreams Nitrogen Bar

March 14, 2019

Hey there food truck nation!

Get ready because we have a new and spellbindingly sweet food truck to talk about this week! Oscar Flores, the owner of Tumbao Buns, has officially opened his very own dessert food truck, Sweet Dreams Nitrogen Bar. This is the place to go to have your sweet dreams made into a reality! Oscar and his cousin Luis Martino are serving up some of the most decadent pastries, delicious shakes and soft nitrogen ice cream in the Miami area! Next time you have a sweet tooth, head on over to Sweet Dreams.

We all remember Oscar’s story and his passion for food when we wrote about Tumbao Buns back in November 2018. However, if you were living under a rock, here is a quick recap! Oscar began his career in the marketing and event world. After some working at a local restaurant within their marketing department, he decided to take the ultimate risk, quit his job and open his very own food truck, Tumbao Buns. It was no surprise to us that Tumbao Buns has been a fan favorite from the beginning. At the end of the blog, we mentioned we would be first in line when Sweet Dreams opens their doors. And, here we are!

Oscar decided to open Sweet Dreams because he saw an opportunity to innovate the dessert world and create some magical, sweet treats. Everything and we mean everything at Sweet Dreams is served on or infused with nitrogen. And, all of their decadent goodies are made with presentation in mind. The way they plate their desserts is ALMOST too beautiful to eat! So, what should you get the next time you head to Sweet Dreams? Well, some of the menu items we hear that are in high demand are their signature, warm crepes (with your choice of toppings/sauces), their dreamy nitrogen ice cream shakes and their beautifully crafted ice cream sundaes complete with an ice cream cone and your choice of toppings on top! In our opinion, you cannot go wrong with anything on their entire menu.

Sweet dreams is the epitome of a family-owned business. Oscar’s brought along his cousin Luis to work alongside him managing the truck and even has his daughter and niece taking orders sometimes! We here at FTG, get so excited to highlight family owned food trucks working hard together to make their business a success. We are so happy to stand behind Oscar as he takes the food truck world to new heights with his fresh ideas and concepts that have made lasting impressions on the food truck culture. We want to thank Oscar for taking the time to sit with us again to share their new and exciting food truck with us and the rest of the food truck nation.

Until next time,

Kellee O.
